I believe strongly in the importance of accessibility, and my time with Seesaw showed me the beauty of American Sign Language, so I took classes to independently learn ASL at the Sign Language Center in NYC. Minimizing environmental impact is important to me. Beyond consolidating the majority of my investments into environmentally conscious or favorable companies, a primary way I try to minimize my personal carbon footprint is to purchase carbon offsets for travel. Every year, I track the travel I do via car, bus, train, and plane, calculate my carbon footprint, and purchase a corresponding number of carbon credits from a reputable source. (As of 2026, I purchase verified carbon credits through Gold Standard’s Climate+ Portfolio). I have fully calculated and offset 100% of out-of-state travel footprints for 2022 through 2025.
